Reply with quote | #1 | So pleased Motorbar got hold of several variants of the cool 500; I ordered mine in early January and I'm still waiting for it to arrive! It's a 1.2 Pop, a few options specified, and if Fiat are selling so many, I wonder where they all are? I've told my son that the green ones are parked against hedges, the red ones in front of fire stations, white ones park in the snow, and the black ones only come out at night. The yellow ones, of course, are to be found in bowls of custard.
Anyone else having to wait ages for a new car in these times of recession?
Regards,
Aykay. __________________ Andrew Kidd |

Reply with quote | #2 | Hi AyKay Good question. Where are all the 500s? For a car that's selling like hotcakes, the 500 is very stealthy Have only seen a handful since they went on sale. For the record, since we tested the 1.2 the other week, two neighbours have gone out and bought one. And yours makes three, AyKay... Anybody else spotted/bought one? MotorBar Crew |

Reply with quote | #3 | At last! Having prepared a plan B, I've given up on the original dealer (no deposit, no paperwork, so a lot of the blame is on me) but got a cracking deal on a January 2009 500 Lounge, in white and it's just brilliant. Picked it up from the very friendly and helpful guys at Rayrigg Motors, Windermere, just last Saturday, with only 800 miles on the clock. Now with 1300 miles recorded, I was flagged down by a G.P. at the local medical centre. Emergency? no, she wanted to know how I liked the car!! Queue here please..... The Rees Report looks as if the next new car might have to be DS3; fascinating stuff! __________________ Andrew Kidd |
